A Little PSA...
Each time we visit our property, I spend time scouring our shoreline for glass. Yes. Glass. It seems that for some reason a lot of glass washes up on our shore. We were initially warned by our neighbours to wear water shoes because they have found lots of broken glass. This past trip was no exception as you can tell.
Some of the glass is noticeably old. I've found pieces to old glass ketchup bottles, beer bottles, and even pieces of teacups. But we also routinely find newer "brown bottles" as well.
So my little PSA is - please don't pitch your glass in the lake. It isn't just going to drop to the bottom. It just might wash up to shore in a place where children play.
