The Boat!

Last weekend we accomplished one goal for 2012 - we finally bought a boat! We decided to head to Toronto for the Toronto Boat Show and see if we could find any good deals. We were able to get a package for a 16ft 2011 Smokercraft Big Fish Utility boat from a marina near Lake Erie. It comes with nav lights, a trailer, a motor and I'm sure other things that I'll discover when we pick it up in early May. 

The boat show was lots of fun for Alex - he really enjoyed driving all the different boats. I did keep him away from the boats that cost over six figures... it wouldn't' be cool if he (or I) scratched one of those!

We also got to see Duma the Water skiing Dog in action - what a smart dog!
